You are the unique result of generations of ancestors you’ve never met.

Let me introduce them to you.

← Renee Revaz. Pondering her heritage even back then.

Who are you?

No, really: WHO ARE YOU?

I’ll go first: I was born in Connecticut 58 short years ago to a 100% Italian mother, and what turned out to be a mutt of a father, whose ancestors hailed from Ireland, Sweden, Switzerland, France, England, Germany and Denmark. I am the product of an Italian silkworm worker (ewww), a Swedish merchant sailor who jumped ship in New York harbor, a Revolutionary War militiaman, a Swiss stoneworker turned Connecticut iron furnace smelter, a real New York Knickerbocker, a wire weaver, a barber-surgeon (again, ewww), a needle straightener, a parentless 15 year-old French immigrant, a Quaker arrested for being a Quaker, a mathematician responsible for the world’s use of the division sign (÷), and to top it all off, a New Netherlander who was charged with sharing his beer with the Native Americans via his canoe up the Hudson River, to name just a few. (Who knew I was this interesting!) I’ve been married for 32 years and live in North Carolina, and no, my bed head has not changed and I still like to blow bubbles.

Let’s find the people who made you YOU.

All that I need to get started is some basic family information. From there, I will begin my online research, accessing public records through my own subscriptions, contacting town halls and government offices here in the US (and overseas if needed) to uncover your family’s stories. I will provide you with a written summary of what I’ve discovered, including original documents.

Additionally, I can enter the names and birthplaces of up to 5 generations of your family into a beautiful ready-to-be-framed family tree print (click here to see an example).

Feel free to contact me for a free consultation. Prices differ based on the accessibility of records and time spent tracking them down (some trees are harder to crack than others). Additional fees for vital record copies, mail/Fedex/UPS or a final tree print are not included.

“Renee not only found relatives back to the 1700s in Italy, but she was also able to explain the origins of our surname, a family mystery until 3 months ago.”

“How amazing that my dad finally knows where in Ireland we came from, and to top it off, he is now in touch with long-lost cousins in County Clare.”

—Tom

“OK, so maybe I’m not related to George Washington. But it turns out my 7th great grandfather was one of the founders of Staten Island. Which ain’t so bad.”
